FerroTec is a leading innovator in the manufacturing sector, and we are currently seeking a highly motivated Buyer Planner to join our team at Kulim Hi-Tech Park. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of planning, organizing, monitoring, and procuring critical components. You will ensure that our production lines remain uninterrupted by maintaining optimal inventory levels for assigned direct and indirect commodities. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can manage supplier relationships and drive efficiency within our supply chain. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement plans to align with production schedules and business objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve supply chain issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Analyze market trends and commodity pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production and engineering teams, to forecast material requirements accurately.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience is highly preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate accurate reports.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
