Bossard is a global leader in fastening technology and the management of assembly solutions. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Buyer / Sourcing Buyer to join our dynamic team in Simpang Ampat, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving our sourcing and purchasing strategies, ensuring the timely delivery of materials while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from identifying potential vendors to executing complex bidding processes. We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and possesses strong negotiation skills.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the complete lifecycle of purchase orders (PO), including issuance, tracking, and closing, to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and qualify new suppliers that align with Bossard’s quality and cost standards.
- Execute and manage Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to secure competitive bids.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly and implement corrective actions to ensure service excellence.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as engineering and production teams, to understand material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in a Buyer or Sourcing Buyer role within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of procurement methodologies, including RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial and data processing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
