In this pivotal role, you will act as a mentor, coach, and strategic lead for our purchasing department, ensuring seamless supply chain operations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
As our Buying Team Leader, you will oversee end-to-end procurement activities, manage key supplier relationships, and drive cost-reduction initiatives in alignment with our global manufacturing standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and coach the purchasing team to achieve procurement KPIs and operational targets.
- Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including supplier sourcing, price negotiation, and contract management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Logistics, and Production) to ensure material availability and quality.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize supply chain efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to foster professional growth within the team.
- Maintain compliance with internal procurement policies and international quality standards.
- Develop and nurture strong long-term relationships with strategic vendors to ensure supply security.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the electronics manufacturing sector.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, develop, and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and supply chain management software.
- Expertise in negotiation, vendor management, and strategic sourcing.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and data to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malay, both written and verbal.
