GFL Metro Communities Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Operator to join our growing engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will support architects and engineers in the design and documentation of our construction projects. We are looking for a professional who possesses a strong command of AutoCAD and has a proven track record in construction detailing and the preparation of as-built drawings. You will play a key role in ensuring our technical documentation is accurate, compliant, and ready for implementation.
Your daily responsibilities will include creating, modifying, and updating detailed 2D and 3D drawings. You will be tasked with preparing as-built documentation to reflect real-world changes made during construction and conducting accurate on-site measurements. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with project stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and ensure all drawings meet regulatory standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Create, modify, and update detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Prepare and manage as-built drawings, ensuring all site changes are accurately documented.
- Conduct on-site measurements and translate them into precise technical plans and schematics.
- Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to resolve design conflicts and improve workflow.
- Ensure all drawings strictly comply with local building codes, engineering standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and accessible digital file structure for all project documentation.
- Revise existing plans and layouts based on client feedback or engineering changes.
- Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs and material lists when required.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience (2-4 years) working as a CAD Operator, Drafter, or similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD with a strong understanding of drafting standards.
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and standard building methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of project management software (e.g., Bluebeam, MS Project) is a plus.
- Valid professional license (optional but preferred).
