As a Cafe Assistant/Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and refreshments. You will operate the point-of-sale system, handle customer payments, and ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
Your role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment. You will be expected to adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards while providing a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

- Greet and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cafe area and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Provide information about menu items and address customer inquiries
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales targets
Kualifikasi
- Minimum SPM/equivalent qualification
- Prior experience in food and beverage or customer service is advantageous
- Friendly and outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Good communication skills in English and/or Malay
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Attention to detail and basic mathematical skills
