Tanggung Jawab
- Process and analyze complex customer PCB and IC Substrate design data (Gerber, ODB++) using IncamPro software to generate optimized manufacturing outputs.
- Perform comprehensive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis, identifying potential issues and recommending design modifications to enhance yield and reliability.
- Create and manage detailed panel layouts, tooling layers, and step/repeat patterns to maximize production efficiency.
- Generate and verify all required delivery data including drill files, route paths, and solder mask layers for various production stages.
- Maintain and update the CAM database, design rules, and standard operating procedures to reflect best practices and latest capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal Engineering and Production teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize workflows on the shop floor.
- Mentor and train junior CAM engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Lead initiatives to automate routine tasks and improve script utilization (e.g., Skill, Python) within the CAM environment to reduce cycle time.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a CAM Engineer role within the PCB or IC Substrate manufacturing industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in IncamPro CAM software is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of PCB manufacturing processes (etching, lamination, drilling, plating, surface finishes).
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and data formats (Gerber RS-274X, ODB++) and IPC standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of Malay or Mandarin is an added advantage for effective communication.
- Experience with automation scripting (Python, Skill, Visual Basic) is highly desirable.
