You will be responsible for processing a variety of financial transactions, including money transfers, bill payments, and currency exchange, adhering strictly to company policies and regulatory standards such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols.

- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including money transfers, bill payments, and foreign currency exchange, in accordance with Western Union standards and local regulations.
- Deliver exceptional, friendly customer service by greeting customers warmly, understanding their needs, and recommending the best financial solutions.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer at all times, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly and any discrepancies are immediately escalated.
- Proactively promote Western Union products and services to customers, identifying opportunities to add value and enhance their overall experience.
- Adhere strictly to all compliance protocols, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies to ensure a secure transaction environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and empathy, resolving issues quickly or escalating to management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work environment, ensuring all marketing materials and branding are correctly displayed and accessible.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in any related field is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in a cash handling role, retail, banking, or a high-volume customer service environment is highly preferred.
- Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail to ensure 100% transaction accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin or other local dialects is a strong plus to serve our diverse customer base.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
- High level of personal integrity, professionalism, and trustworthiness, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and compliance.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications and a willingness to learn point-of-sale (POS) and other financial systems.
- Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays, to meet the operating hours of our retail location in KL City Centre.
