Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Pastry Chef in the daily preparation, production, and plating of desserts, pastries, and bread items.
- Ensure all workstations are kept clean, organized, and comply with strict HACCP and food safety standards.
- Accurately measure and weigh ingredients for mass production following standardized hotel recipes.
- Operate professional kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, proofers, and tempering machines safely.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Maintain high-quality standards in every item produced to ensure consistency across the buffet and a la carte menus.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service during peak operating hours.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Previous experience or internship in a hotel or commercial bakery kitchen is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic pastry techniques, including mixing, baking, and decorating.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods in a kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of personal hygiene.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and take direction from senior culinary staff.
