In this pivotal role, you will be the architect of our product assortment, driving profitability through strategic supplier negotiations, precise pricing strategies, and meticulous inventory management.
As a Category Buyer, you will not just purchase goods; you will be responsible for defining the success of your product category. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, capitalize on emerging consumer demands, and ensure our stores are stocked with the right products at the right time. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to achieve sales and gross margin targets.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and promotional support.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust product assortments effectively.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute impactful product promotions and store displays.
- Analyze sales data and KPIs to identify growth opportunities and underperforming products.
- Build and nurture long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key vendors and partners.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in category management, procurement, or retail buying, preferably in consumer electronics.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail management software.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Deep understanding of retail math, inventory turnover, and margin management.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects in a high-growth environment.
- Proven capability to make data-driven decisions that impact bottom-line results.
