You will work closely with the Executive Chef to curate menus that highlight the best seasonal produce available. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and culinary standards.
- Manage specific sections of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry) during service to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols at all times.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive, high-performance team.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and assist with ordering to minimize food waste.
- Create and adapt seasonal menus based on the availability of fresh farm produce.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop innovative recipes and plating styles.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a fine-dining or farm-to-table environment.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
- Excellent command of the English language (Malay language skills are a plus).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Possession of a valid hygiene certificate or food handler's permit.
- Demonstrated passion for sustainability and local sourcing.
- Strong leadership skills and a positive attitude.
