Our brand, Shake Salad, has become a favorite in Singapore, and we are looking for a Central Kitchen Operations Manager to lead our central kitchen in Tai Seng. This is a hands-on, results-driven role where you will oversee the entire daily production cycle, from ingredient preparation to final dispatch, ensuring that every product meets our high standards of quality and freshness.
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production team, planning schedules to meet demand, and ensuring strict adherence to food safety regulations (SFA and HACCP). You will also be tasked with optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and controlling costs to improve overall efficiency. We need a leader who can inspire a team, maintain discipline, and drive continuous improvement.
In this key position, you will collaborate with procurement for ingredient supplies, coordinate with logistics for deliveries, and work with the culinary team to scale recipes. You will also manage budgets, track KPIs, and report to senior management. Your ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly will be essential.
We offer a competitive salary of SGD 5,500 to SGD 8,000 per month, based on experience, along with benefits such as annual leave, medical coverage, and staff discounts. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee daily central kitchen operations including food production, packing, and dispatch to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Develop and implement production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
- Enforce strict food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with SFA and HACCP guidelines.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Monitor production costs, optimize resource utilization, and implement waste reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics to manage supply chain and ensure ingredient availability.
- Conduct regular quality checks and audits to maintain product consistency and safety.
- Report on production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in central kitchen, food manufacturing, or high-volume food production operations.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP certification preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of 10+ staff.
- Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and drive production efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to operations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays if necessary.
