Initia Group (Am I Addicted) is seeking a creative and dedicated Ceramic Studio Intern to join our dynamic team in the heart of Orchard. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional ceramic studio, learning the intricacies of clay work, studio management, and customer engagement within a premium art lifestyle brand.
As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced instructors and studio managers, contributing to the daily operations that keep our studio running smoothly. You will have the chance to witness the creative process from start to finish, handle various ceramic materials, and assist in facilitating workshops for our community. We are looking for an individual with a keen eye for aesthetics, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in the arts to help us provide an unforgettable experience for our patrons.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the daily preparation of clay, glazes, and studio equipment to ensure a seamless workshop environment.
- Support instructors during ceramic classes and workshops, providing guidance to participants where necessary.
- Handle studio housekeeping duties, including the cleaning and maintenance of kilns, wheels, and workspace areas.
- Manage inventory of art supplies and help organize finished pieces for firing and customer collection.
- Assist with basic front-of-house tasks, including customer inquiries and workshop registrations.
- Contribute to social media content creation by capturing high-quality photos/videos of the studio process.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and hygiene protocols within the studio.
Kualifikasi
- Current student or recent graduate in Fine Arts, Design, or a related creative field.
- Strong interest in ceramics, pottery, or hands-on art-making processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and handle physical aspects of studio work.
- Highly organized, reliable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work during weekends or public holidays as required by the studio schedule.
- Basic proficiency in photography or digital content creation is a significant advantage.
