As a Certification Engineer within our Consumer and Retail division, you will play a vital role in safeguarding consumer safety by ensuring that controlled goods meet stringent regulatory standards. You will be responsible for reviewing product dossiers, evaluating test reports, and issuing certifications under the Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Registration Scheme (CCS). Your expertise will help importers and manufacturers navigate the complex landscape of safety regulations, ensuring that only compliant products reach the market.

Tanggung Jawab
- Review and evaluate product submissions against the Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Regulations and CCS requirements.
- Approve Controlled Goods ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards.
- Liaise with manufacturers, importers, and retailers to clarify regulatory requirements.
- Conduct technical assessments and risk analyses of consumer goods.
- Prepare and issue certification documents and reports.
- Monitor changes in regulations and update internal procedures accordingly.
- Collaborate with global certification teams to maintain consistency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
- At least 2 years of experience in product testing, certification, or regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of Singapore consumer safety regulations and CCS scheme.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple submissions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with certification databases is a plus.
