Tanggung Jawab
- Manage daily operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant ensuring CEPIETSO compliance
- Monitor treatment processes and effluent quality parameters in real-time
- Develop and implement environmental safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Prepare regulatory reports for environmental authorities (DOE, etc.)
- Train and supervise plant operators on ETP operations and best practices
- Optimize chemical usage and energy consumption to reduce operational costs
- Conduct root cause analysis for treatment inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
- Liaise with external auditors during compliance inspections
Kualifikasi
- Mandatory CEPIETSO (Certified Effluent Treatment Plant Competent Person) certification
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial wastewater treatment plant operations
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian environmental regulations (Environmental Quality Act 1974)
- Valid BP (Blue Book) or PCP (Professional Competency Program) certification preferred
- Proficiency in process control systems and laboratory analysis techniques
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality assurance
- Leadership experience with team management responsibilities
