Sunway Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Chargeman AO to join our Facilities Management team. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our hospital’s infrastructure, ensuring that our electrical systems operate with maximum efficiency, safety, and reliability.
As a Chargeman AO at Sunway Medical Centre, you will be responsible for the seamless operation and routine maintenance of high-end plant equipment. You will play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of safety compliance, ensuring that our clinical environments remain powered and protected 24/7. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical installations and plant equipment.
- Ensure full compliance with the Electricity Supply Act and Regulations, and standard safety operating procedures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, including switchboards, transformers, and backup generators.
- Carry out regular inspections of hospital facility electrical systems to ensure operational uptime.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for specialized repair tasks and equipment upgrades.
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs, incident reports, and technical documentation.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and equipment breakdowns to minimize service disruption.
- Assist in energy efficiency initiatives to optimize facility power consumption.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Chargeman AO Certificate issued by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance, preferably within a hospital or large-scale commercial building.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control circuits, and motor starters.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers, and earth resistance testers.
- Ability to work on a shift rotation, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Strong commitment to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a technical team.
