SMC Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Chargeman (AO Certificate) to join our dynamic engineering team in Pontian Kechil. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in maintaining our electrical infrastructure, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring full compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage daily electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works in accordance with the Electricity Supply Act and Regulations.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Ensure all electrical equipment and machinery comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor energy consumption patterns and propose improvements to optimize facility energy efficiency.
- Conduct systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis during electrical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including logbooks, maintenance records, and safety reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors for project installations and upgrades.
- Supervise junior technicians and ensure all site activities adhere strictly to OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) guidelines.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Chargeman AO Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of local electrical regulations, standards, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in troubleshooting power distribution systems, control panels, and PLC-based machinery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on preventative maintenance.
- High level of integrity and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
