Arkema, a global leader in Specialty Materials, is seeking a skilled and safety-oriented Chargeman (Maintenance) to join our Pasir Gudang site on a contract basis. As a vital member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, safety, and optimal performance of our electrical and instrumentation systems.
In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining high-availability infrastructure within a chemical manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the engineering team to execute preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex electrical faults, and ensure full adherence to Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations and internal safety protocols.

Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the safe operation and maintenance of electrical distribution systems, including switchgears, transformers, and control panels.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance (PM) inspections in compliance with company standards and statutory requirements.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and instrumentation malfunctions to minimize plant downtime.
- Manage electrical documentation, including single-line diagrams, maintenance logs, and equipment history files.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized electrical works.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, local safety regulations, and Arkema’s internal safety policies.
- Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions to improve system reliability.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Chargeman Certificate (A0, A1, or A4) issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and industrial instrumentation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Effective communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and hazard identification.
