Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established cafe menus and recipes.
- Ensure consistent food presentation, portion control, and flavor profiles for every order.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure kitchen readiness.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Continuously refine cooking techniques and contribute to new menu ideas or seasonal specials.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Assistant in a cafe or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen management practices.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure during peak service hours.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of a busy kitchen.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification is a significant plus.
