Tanggung Jawab
- Manage a designated kitchen section and ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard of presentation and taste.
- Supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants, providing guidance and training to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP/NEA standards).
- Assist the Head Chef in menu development, testing new recipes, and seasonal ingredient sourcing.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage food costs, and minimize wastage through effective portion control.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the workstation and ensure all kitchen equipment is correctly handled and maintained.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely and smooth service delivery.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a hotel or fine-dining setting.
- Possess a relevant culinary qualification or professional certification.
- Deep understanding of food safety protocols and hygiene standards.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive team environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and split shifts as required.
