Tanggung Jawab

  • Manage a designated kitchen section and ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard of presentation and taste.
  • Supervise Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants, providing guidance and training to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP/NEA standards).
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu development, testing new recipes, and seasonal ingredient sourcing.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage food costs, and minimize wastage through effective portion control.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the workstation and ensure all kitchen equipment is correctly handled and maintained.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely and smooth service delivery.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a hotel or fine-dining setting.
  • Possess a relevant culinary qualification or professional certification.
  • Deep understanding of food safety protocols and hygiene standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and split shifts as required.
  • Passion for culinary innovation and a keen eye for aesthetic detail in food presentation.
