Tanggung Jawab

  • Manage and oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry, or grill) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's standard recipes and specifications.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to, maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff and commis chefs.
  • Monitor stock levels for your section, assist with inventory management, and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
  • Maintain composure and efficiency during peak service hours in our fast-paced CBD restaurant.
  • Contribute to a positive kitchen culture by communicating effectively and supporting team members.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or Commis Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel kitchen, OR fresh graduates with a strong foundational culinary education. Career switchers with a passion for food are highly encouraged to apply.
  • A recognized culinary diploma or certificate is preferred; relevant experience will be highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food preparation techniques, and culinary trends.
  • A genuine passion for food and a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work in a high-energy environment in the Downtown Core / CBD area.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards (WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 or equivalent is a plus).
