Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare, cook, and present food items in accordance with company standard recipes and portion control.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety protocols within the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering, and minimizing kitchen wastage.
- Ensure workstation cleanliness and organize mise-en-place efficiently before and after service.
- Participate in menu development discussions and contribute creative ideas for seasonal specials.
- Support junior kitchen staff in developing their culinary skills and kitchen knowledge.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment (Commis to Chef de Partie level).
- Strong passion for café-style cuisine and a commitment to quality food presentation.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
- Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Flexible availability to work on a roster basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Certification in culinary arts or hospitality management is an added advantage.
