Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the hot kitchen station to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to standardized recipes and the Head Chef's specifications.
- Maintain impeccable food hygiene and safety standards at all times, strictly adhering to HACCP guidelines.
- Assist in menu planning and development, suggesting creative improvements to existing dishes.
- Monitor and control food costs by minimizing waste and ensuring proper portioning techniques.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and in proper working order at the end of each shift.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong culinary skills with a specific focus on hot kitchen preparation, plating, and finishing.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle pressure during service.
- Culinary certification or diploma from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and proper hygiene practices.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with front-of-house staff.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
