As a Chef de Partie, you will be the heartbeat of your designated station. You will work in a fast-paced, vibrant, and creative environment where we celebrate fresh, sustainable ingredients and bold flavors. We are looking for someone who is not just a cook, but a leader who can maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen hygiene while contributing to our unique beach club dining experience.
You will collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to ensure seamless service, train junior staff, and innovate our menu offerings. If you thrive under pressure and have a genuine love for coastal hospitality, we want to hear from you.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage your assigned station ensuring high-quality food preparation and plating standards.
- Maintain consistent food cost control and minimize wastage through precise portioning.
- Supervise, mentor, and train Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants to ensure a high-performance team environment.
- Uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations (HACCP) throughout the kitchen.
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu development and seasonal recipe creation.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained, clean, and in good working order.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure fresh supply availability.
- Execute service protocols under high-pressure conditions while maintaining a positive kitchen culture.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Chef de Partie or Senior Demi Chef role, preferably within a high-volume beach club or fine-dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of international culinary techniques and flavor profiles.
- Proven ability to lead a diverse kitchen team and foster a collaborative environment.
- Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen health and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.
- Degree or Diploma from a recognized culinary school is highly preferred.
- Creative mindset with a passion for sustainable and fresh local ingredients.
