As a Chemical Management Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining chemical inventory systems, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance with REACH, RoHS, and other standards. You will work closely with suppliers to source environmentally preferred materials and collaborate with process engineers to integrate chemical management best practices into production workflows. Additionally, you will lead training programs for staff on safe handling and storage of chemicals, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize environmental footprint. - Develop and maintain comprehensive chemical inventory and tracking systems
- Ensure compliance with REACH, RoHS, and other environmental regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for chemical handling
- Collaborate with suppliers to source sustainable and compliant materials
- Work with process engineers to optimize chemical usage and reduce waste
- Lead training sessions on safe chemical storage, handling, and disposal
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in chemical management processes
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to chemical usage and environmental impact
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in chemical management or related role
- Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations (REACH, RoHS, etc.)
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or electronics industry preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and training abilities
- Proficiency in chemical inventory management software and MS Office
