Are you a skilled and safety-oriented Chemical Technician seeking a rewarding contract role? Adecco is excited to recruit 5 dedicated Chemical Technicians to join our prestigious client, a world-renowned leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, located in the Tuas area. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing operations. We offer a highly competitive salary package of $2,300 to $2,400 per month, complemented by attractive shift allowances, ample overtime (OT) opportunities, and a generous performance bonus.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor chemical production equipment and processes following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform raw material charging, batching, and sampling to maintain strict product quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections, line clearances, and 5S housekeeping in the production area.
- Maintain accurate production logs, batch records, and inventory documentation.
- Identify and report process deviations, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets and drive continuous improvement.
- Strictly adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Support shift handovers and coordinate with maintenance teams for troubleshooting.
What We Are Looking For:
- Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a chemical, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical plant environment.
- Experience handling solvents, acids, or hazardous materials is highly advantageous.
- Holder of a Safety Passport or relevant WSH certifications is preferred.
- Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night).
- Physically fit for standing long hours and lifting materials.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to work in the Tuas area.
