This role is pivotal in overseeing complex electrical systems, including both Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) distribution, within high-stakes construction and infrastructure environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical integrity of major projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international safety standards. You will lead engineering teams, provide technical guidance during the design and construction phases, and ensure that all electrical switchgear and systems are installed to the highest quality specifications. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of HV/LV electrical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and project plans to ensure full compliance with engineering standards.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, sub-contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage the procurement, testing, and maintenance of high-voltage switchgear and electrical distribution equipment.
- Perform on-site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols (SS CP 5/638).
- Provide expert technical leadership to junior engineers and site teams to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Prepare regular progress reports and manage project documentation for senior management review.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically within construction or infrastructure projects in Singapore.
- Solid expertise in LV/HV systems, power distribution, and electrical switchgear configuration.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Standards (SS) and local electrical regulatory requirements (EMA/BCA).
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage site-based project operations.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or eligibility for registration with the PE Board (Singapore) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
