Are you a seasoned engineering professional with a passion for resort operations and sustainable energy systems? Our prestigious resort property in Batam is seeking a visionary Chief Engineer to lead our technical department. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our facility's functionality, ensuring that every aspect of our infrastructureâfrom guest-facing amenities to complex power systemsâoperates at peak performance.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems with a strategic mindset focused on efficiency and preventative maintenance. You will oversee a dedicated team, manage vendor relationships, and spearhead initiatives to modernize our energy infrastructure, specifically focusing on our solar energy integration and power generation systems.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and manage the engineering and maintenance team to ensure operational excellence across the resort.
- Oversee the preventative and corrective maintenance schedules for all resort facilities, including buildings, grounds, and common areas.
- Manage the operations and optimization of solar energy systems and high-capacity power generators (genset).
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for large-scale repairs, upgrades, and compliance-related inspections.
- Implement cost-saving measures and energy-efficiency programs to reduce the resort's environmental footprint and operational expenses.
- Ensure full compliance with all local health, safety, and environmental regulations in the Kepulauan Riau region.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of maintenance activities and provide regular technical reports to senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent technical certification).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in resort, hotel, or facility engineering management.
- Strong hands-on experience with power generation systems (Gensets) and renewable energy (Solar PV systems).
- Proficiency in reading technical blueprints, electrical diagrams, and schematics.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially regarding equipment failures and urgent repairs.
- Fluent in Indonesian and proficient in English for reporting and communication purposes.
- Willingness to be based in Batam, Kepulauan Riau.
