Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the engineering department to ensure efficient vessel operations and crew safety.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all shipboard machinery, including diesel engines and generators.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance plans for all systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and other international maritime regulations.
- Manage the engineering budget and inventory for spare parts and materials.
- Conduct regular safety drills, inspections, and emergency response training.
- Liaise effectively with superintendents and shore-based technical teams.
Kualifikasi
- Valid STCW Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Chief Engineer (Class 1 or 2).
- Minimum 5-10 years of seagoing experience in the Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) sector.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is essential for communication.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Valid Medical Certificate (Class 1).
- Technical knowledge of marine engineering systems and auxiliary machinery.
- Familiarity with Indonesian maritime regulations and safety standards.
