Sumi Hotel is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Chief Engineer to lead our technical operations in Jakarta Barat. As part of a growing budget hotel chain, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities and maintaining the highest standards of guest comfort and safety. We are looking for a strategic leader who can optimize engineering processes and manage a team of skilled technicians to deliver exceptional service.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee the engineering department’s daily activities, ensuring all systems are operational and compliant with safety regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of all hotel facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Manage the engineering department’s budget, including procurement of spare parts and maintenance contracts.
- Ensure full compliance with local safety regulations, fire codes, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and repair costs.
- Liaise with the Front Office and other departments to promptly address guest complaints and maintenance requests.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and carbon footprint.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in hotel engineering, preferably in a managerial role.
- Valid professional engineering license (SIP/SKA) is required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a technical team.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations in Indonesia.
