We are seeking a highly qualified Chief Trade-Industry Development Specialist to lead strategic trade and industry development initiatives in the Ilocos Region. This pivotal role is connected with the Civil Service Commission and involves developing comprehensive strategies to promote local industries, attract investments, and drive sustainable economic growth across the region.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing trade promotion programs, coordinating with various government agencies and private sector stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with national development objectives. This position requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of regional economic dynamics.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive trade and industry development strategies aligned with regional and national economic goals
- Coordinate with government agencies, private sector organizations, and stakeholders to promote trade and investment opportunities in the Ilocos Region
- Design and oversee programs that support local industries, small and medium enterprises, and export-oriented businesses
- Monitor and analyze market trends, trade data, and industry developments to inform policy recommendations
- Establish partnerships with international trade organizations and foreign business delegations to expand market access
- Prepare detailed reports, position papers, and presentations for government officials and stakeholders
- Manage budgets, resources, and personnel assigned to trade development initiatives
- Represent the organization in forums, conferences, and negotiations related to trade and industry matters
Kualifikasi
- Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field from a reputable institution
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in trade development, industry promotion, or economic planning roles
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine trade policies, industry development frameworks, and regional economic conditions
- Proven track record in program management, stakeholder engagement, and policy development
- Strong analytical, research, and strategic planning abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English; familiarity with Filipino or Ilocano language is advantageous
- Experience working with government agencies, civil service organizations, or public sector entities is preferred
