We are currently seeking a passionate and committed Children and Youth Care Mentor / Student Care Teacher to join our dynamic team in the Bukit Batok area.
In this rewarding role, you will be an integral part of our students' holistic development, providing guidance, academic support, and a listening ear. Daily activities involve supervising students during before and after school care, planning engaging enrichment activities, and providing homework guidance. You will foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through intentional interactions and carefully structured programs. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children and youths during student care hours.
- Plan, organize, and conduct enriching activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Provide academic support and homework guidance to students of various age groups.
- Mentor and build trusting, supportive relationships with children and youths from diverse backgrounds.
- Engage with parents and guardians regularly to provide updates on their child's progress and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment in accordance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with the wider team to implement and improve program curricula and student care policies.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Passion for working with children and youths and a genuine commitment to their development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing disposition when dealing with diverse learning needs and behaviors.
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners through creative and interactive methods.
- First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous (training can be provided).
- Relevant experience in student care, youth work, or community services is highly valued.
- Willingness to work school hours and participate in occasional events or outings.
