Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, prepare, and execute Chinese banquet menus according to established recipes and quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow during banquet service
- Source high-quality ingredients and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies
- Ensure food presentation meets the highest standards of Chinese culinary arts
- Adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal banquet offerings
- Train junior kitchen staff in Chinese cooking techniques and kitchen procedures
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Chinese Chef, preferably in banquet settings
- Proven expertise in various Chinese cooking styles, including Cantonese, Sichuan, and Hakka cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Chinese ingredients, spices, and traditional cooking methods
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple banquet events simultaneously
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
