Join the dedicated team at St Andrew's Cathedral as a Church Cleaner and contribute to the upkeep of one of Singapore's most iconic landmarks. This part-time position offers an opportunity to work in a serene and respectful environment, ensuring the cathedral remains immaculate for daily services, visitors, and special events.
KMAC International Pte. Ltd., a leading provider of professional cleaning services, is seeking a hardworking individual to perform general cleaning duties at the cathedral. The role involves early morning hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, allowing you to enjoy the rest of your day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets throughout the cathedral
- Dust and wipe down pews, altars, and other furniture
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Polish glass surfaces, doors, and fixtures
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events as needed
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift during the shift
- Willing to work early morning hours from 7AM to 7PM
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Comfortable working in a religious environment
- Valid work authorization for Singapore
Attire Details: Uniform provided (please return upon completion). You must wear black long pants or plain dark jeans, and covered shoes with socks. This ensures a professional appearance while maintaining safety.
