SM City La Union is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our facilities management and engineering team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our structural integrity, ensuring that our mall environment remains safe, modern, and perfectly aligned with SM’s gold-standard design specifications.
As our on-site Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of building structures, coordinating infrastructure improvements, and ensuring that all construction or renovation activities meet rigorous safety and regulatory standards. You will work closely with contractors and internal departments to provide technical solutions that enhance the shopping experience for millions of visitors. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and monitor the structural integrity and maintenance of all mall facilities and assets.
- Supervise repair, renovation, and expansion projects to ensure adherence to engineering plans and safety codes.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential structural issues and implement proactive maintenance solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, budget estimates, and project schedules for management review.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and government agencies to ensure project compliance with local building codes.
- Manage technical documentation and blueprints to ensure all facility records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure that all construction activities are executed in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC Board Passer).
- Proven experience in structural maintenance, building construction, or facility management.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, permit processes, and structural design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and project management tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and external contractors.
