As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing construction works including road networks, earthworks, drainage systems, and other civil engineering improvements. Role Overview: The Civil Engineer will oversee all phases of infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Key responsibilities include conducting site investigations, preparing technical reports, managing procurement, and supervising construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in road construction, earthworks, and drainage systems. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage estate infrastructure projects including roadworks, earthworks, drainage systems, and civil engineering improvements.
- Prepare project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new infrastructure developments.
- Supervise and coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and company standards.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project approvals and progress updates.
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders on land use, permits, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve infrastructure efficiency and sustainability.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering/infrastructure projects, preferably in plantation or rural development.
- Strong knowledge of road construction, earthworks, drainage design, and geotechnical principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar engineering software.
- Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Malaysian safety and environmental regulations is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in Sabah and travel to estate sites.
