We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Inspector of Works to join our team for the upcoming Nenggiri Hydroelectric Project in Gua Musang, Kelantan. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark infrastructure project that will significantly impact the region's energy sector. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all civil construction activities adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and engineering specifications.
In this role, you will act as the quality control advocate on-site, working closely with contractors and project stakeholders. Your expertise will be vital in monitoring construction progress, verifying material compliance, and maintaining the integrity of the project's structural elements. We are looking for a professional who is proactive, technically proficient, and ready to take on the challenges of a large-scale hydroelectric development.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify that all construction works comply with approved engineering drawings and specifications.
- Monitor daily construction activities and report any delays, deviations, or quality issues to the Project Manager immediately.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, health policies, and environmental standards on the construction site.
- Liaise effectively with contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants to clarify technical details and resolve on-site issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including material consumption and labor logs.
- Verify the quality and quantity of construction materials before they are used on-site to ensure cost efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of technical correspondence, site instructions, and close-out documents.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction inspection, preferably within the hydroelectric or large-scale infrastructure sector.
- Valid Site Supervisor/Inspector Certificate or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian building codes, standards (MS), and construction best practices.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Malay, with the ability to write clear technical reports.
- Ability to work independently in remote locations and adapt to field conditions.
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications and technical inspection software.
