Tanggung Jawab
- Safely and efficiently operate a 24ft Class 4 lorry for daily collections, deliveries, and transportation of goods.
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to ensure timely and punctual dispatch to various destinations across Singapore.
- Supervise and actively assist in the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring goods are securely fastened and protected.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain the lorry in safe, clean, and roadworthy conditions.
- Collect official signatures, delivery orders (DO), and relevant paperwork, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Adhere strictly to Singapore traffic regulations, warehouse safety protocols, and company transport policies.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch coordinator and warehouse team regarding schedule updates or delivery issues.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 Driving License with a clean and unblemished driving record.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of professional experience operating a 24ft lorry or similar heavy logistics vehicles.
- Familiarity with Singapore's roads, industrial estates, and major highway networks.
- Physically fit and comfortable handling manual loading/unloading tasks for cargo items.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and commitment to safe driving practices.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with customers and warehouse staff.
- Ability to commit to a 5.5-day work week and flexibility to perform overtime when operational demands arise.
