As a Clearance Agent at FedEx in the Clark Freeport Zone, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely processing of international shipments through customs. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for documentation and regulatory compliance, ensuring that all shipments meet both local and international trade laws. You will collaborate closely with customs brokers, government authorities, and internal operations teams to minimize clearance delays and maximize efficiency. Tanggung Jawab
- Review and process export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and regulatory agencies to ensure accurate and timely clearance of cargo.
- Monitor changes in customs regulations, trade compliance standards, and tariff codes to mitigate compliance risks.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from clients and internal departments regarding shipment status and documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all clearance activities and compliance reports.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information in shipping documents to prevent cargo hold-ups.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to facilitate the seamless flow of goods in and out of the facility.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in customs clearance, import/export compliance, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
- Strong working knowledge of Philippine Customs laws, International Trade Regulations, and HS Codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and customs management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Relevant certification in Customs Broking or Supply Chain Management is highly desirable.
