Tanggung Jawab
- Assist with Casting Procedures: Support senior technicians in the accurate and safe application of plaster casts and orthopedic splints.
- Patient Care & Hygiene: Provide clear instructions to patients on how to care for their casts, emphasizing cleanliness and hygiene.
- Cast Removal: Assist in the gentle removal of casts and padding under professional supervision.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain a sterile, clean, and organized workspace for casting activities.
- Material Preparation: Prepare and mix casting materials, ensuring all tools and equipment are ready for use.
- Inventory Support: Monitor stock levels of casting supplies and assist in reordering as necessary.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff to ensure smooth operations.
Kualifikasi
- Education: Secondary school certificate or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Plaster Technician Assistant, Nursing Aide, or in a hospital support role is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient mobility/lifting.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with a patient-focused attitude.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure proper cast application and patient safety.
- Medical Terminology: Basic understanding of medical or orthopedic terminology is an asset.
