Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations including refraction, binocular vision assessment, and ocular health evaluation
- Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions such as refractive errors, glaucoma, and dry eye syndrome
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses including glasses, contact lenses, and low vision aids
- Perform pre/post-operative assessments for ophthalmic procedures and monitor treatment progress
- Develop personalized treatment plans and educate patients on eye health and preventive care
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment (e.g., OCT, visual field analyzer) for accurate assessments
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry with valid registration from Singapore Optometry Board
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in optometry or ophthalmic setting
- Strong diagnostic skills with proficiency in slit-lamp biomicroscopy and retinal examination
- Expertise in contact lens fitting and complex refractive error management
- Excellent patient communication skills with ability to explain complex conditions clearly
- Proficiency in electronic health records systems and practice management software
- Certification in specific areas (e.g., low vision therapy, pediatric optometry) preferred
