Forte Employment Services is currently recruiting a CMM QA Technician on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer in the precision engineering sector. This role is based in Woodlands, North Region, Singapore, and offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced quality assurance technician to contribute to a high-standard production environment. As a CMM QA Technician, you will be tasked with conducting detailed inspections of manufactured components using state-of-the-art Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) as well as traditional precision tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Your expertise will help maintain stringent quality control standards and support the company's commitment to excellence.
This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with the production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring that all products meet or exceed specifications. Your contributions will directly impact the overall quality and reliability of our products. The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in a similar role, a solid understanding of GD&T, and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings. Knowledge of CMM programming, particularly PC-DMIS, will be an asset.
In return, Forte Employment Services offers a competitive salary package of $2,000 – $3,000 per month, commensurate with experience, along with a supportive work environment and opportunities for advancement. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform precise dimensional inspections using CMM and conventional measuring instruments.
- Set up and program CMMs for various part geometries and inspection requirements.
- Conduct first article inspections and in-process quality checks.
- Document inspection results and generate detailed reports.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T symbols.
- Identify non-conformances and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment as per schedule.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a QA Inspector or CMM Technician in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in operating CMM equipment (Zeiss, Mitutoyo, or similar) and hand tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001) is a plus.
