AECOM is seeking a talented and motivated Coastal Engineer to join our dynamic marine and coastal team in Singapore. As a Coastal Engineer, you will apply advanced engineering principles to analyze waves, currents, and sediment transport, contributing to the sustainable development of coastal structures. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, leveraging cutting-edge modeling tools and AECOM's global network of expertise to deliver innovative, climate-resilient engineering solutions.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct numerical modeling of waves, hydrodynamic currents, sediment transport, and coastal morphology.
- Assist in the engineering design of coastal structures, including breakwaters, seawalls, revetments, and beach nourishment systems.
- Perform hydrological, hydrodynamic, and climate-change impact assessments for coastal development projects.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, engineering drawings, specifications, and design calculations in compliance with local and international standards.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely project delivery.
- Support site inspections, field investigations, and oceanographic data collection campaigns.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Marine/Ocean Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in coastal engineering, marine modeling, or port design.
- Proficiency in coastal modeling software such as MIKE 21, Delft3D, or similar analytical tools.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, coastal processes, wave-structure interaction, and climate change adaptation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical report writing skills.
- Familiarity with Singapore's marine and maritime regulations (MPA, NEA, PUB) is highly advantageous.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills in English.
