Indospec Asia is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Coating & Corrosion Inspector to join our professional team. In this critical role, you will ensure the structural integrity and durability of our assets by strictly adhering to international coating standards. As a Coating & Corrosion Inspector, you will play a vital role in the lifecycle of infrastructure by preventing corrosion and ensuring surface finishes meet specifications. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the value and longevity of our client's properties.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive visual inspections of surface preparation and coating application processes to ensure quality.
- Utilize wet film thickness gauges, dry film thickness gauges, and other NACE/SSPC approved testing equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with client specifications, safety regulations, and environmental controls.
- Document inspection results, identify non-conformities, and report areas requiring rework accurately.
- Communicate technical findings and safety concerns effectively to project managers and site supervisors.
- Monitor environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, to ensure optimal coating performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all site housekeeping policies.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in coating inspection, preferably within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Construction industry.
- Technical diploma or degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- Candidate must possess NACE Level 1 or 2 certification (SSPC equivalent is highly desirable).
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM A) is required for site travel.
- Physically fit to perform field inspections in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
