Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for the perfect brew? Expat. Roasters Indonesia is seeking a skilled Coffee Technician to join our team in Bali. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that our high-end coffee equipment functions flawlessly to deliver the exceptional standards our customers expect.
As a Coffee Technician, you will travel across our locations to perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and installations. You will combine your technical expertise with a service-oriented mindset, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues under pressure. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform preventative maintenance on espresso machines, grinders, and related brewing equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues on-site.
- Install and calibrate new coffee equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed service logs for all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Provide training and support to baristas regarding proper equipment usage and daily care.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure service tools are kept in optimal condition.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls to minimize operational downtime.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a technician, ideally working with coffee equipment or commercial kitchen machinery.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Bali region.
- Strong communication skills in Indonesian (English proficiency is a plus).
- A genuine passion for the specialty coffee industry and commitment to technical excellence.
