PT Trans Nikel Indonesia is a rapidly growing player in the global nickel commodity sector, currently seeking a highly motivated Commercial Executive (Mandarin Speaker) to join our team in Jakarta Utara. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the lifecycle of our international trading operations, bridging the gap between local production and global market demands.
We are looking for a professional with a sharp analytical mindset who understands the complexities of commodity trading, contract negotiation, and logistical calculations. You will be responsible for managing commercial relationships, ensuring contract compliance, and optimizing trading margins. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end nickel trading contracts, ensuring accuracy in pricing, volume, and scheduling.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to facilitate smooth commodity flow.
- Conduct detailed price analysis and market research to optimize trading performance and identify new opportunities.
- Perform complex commercial calculations related to freight, assay adjustments, and contract settlement terms.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with international buyers, primarily within the Chinese market.
- Prepare regular reporting on shipment progress, sales performance, and market trend analysis.
- Ensure full compliance with international trading regulations and internal company policies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, International Trade, or a related field.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory to communicate with regional partners.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in commodity trading, logistics, or import/export sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Deep understanding of commodity contract terms (incoterms, L/C, payment terms).
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Experience in the nickel or mining industry is highly advantageous.
