Mindteck is currently seeking a dedicated and results-driven Commercial Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Petaling, Selangor. This is an exciting contract opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at managing commercial project lifecycles.
As a Commercial Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the commercial aspects of our projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget compliance, and strategic growth targets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, sales, and technical departments to drive project success and maximize profitability.
This role requires someone with strong commercial acumen, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Key responsibilities include managing project controllers, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, reviewing commercial performance metrics, and implementing best practices to enhance overall project efficiency and ROI.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage commercial project planning, execution, and delivery in alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control mechanisms to ensure profitability and resource optimization.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and internal departments to streamline communication and resolve commercial issues promptly.
- Implement robust project controlling processes, track milestones, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project performance data and recommending strategic enhancements.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact for commercial project matters.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for audit and compliance purposes.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 6-7 years of working experience with at least 3-4 years specifically in commercial Project Management or Project Controlling roles.
- Proven track record of managing complex commercial projects from initiation through to successful completion and handover.
- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, financial analysis, and commercial contract management.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, prepare reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Advanced proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. PMP or equivalent professional certification is highly advantageous.
