We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis to support our kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Commis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. You will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily food preparation, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and upholding our commitment to quality. Working in a fast-paced environment requires reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times, adhering to strict food safety regulations.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Support the kitchen team during service to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maximize cost efficiency.
- Assist in the cleaning of the kitchen area, including floors, walls, and storage areas.
Kualifikasi
- Previous experience as a Commis or Kitchen Assistant in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of culinary techniques, hygiene standards, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
