Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation and production of a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Ensure all mise en place is prepared efficiently and to the required quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with hygiene regulations
- Support senior chefs during service and special events, contributing to timely and beautiful presentations
- Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and communicate replenishment needs
- Participate in menu development by offering creative ideas and executing new recipes
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage and labeling
Kualifikasi
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably in a hotel or fine dining establishment
- Formal culinary education or apprenticeship in pastry arts is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, doughs, creams, and chocolate work
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for producing visually appealing desserts
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays
