As a Commis Chef, you'll be instrumental in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests in our 99-room resort. You'll work under the guidance of our Executive Chef to master culinary techniques, maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene, and contribute to our reputation for excellence. This role offers hands-on experience in a high-end hospitality environment, perfect for aspiring chefs looking to grow their skills in a supportive setting. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in daily food preparation and cooking according to resort standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment
- Support senior chefs during peak service hours
- Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols
- Participate in inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to recipe specifications and portion control guidelines
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
- Train in various kitchen sections for cross-functional expertise
Kualifikasi
- Culinary school certification or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge of Indonesian and international cuisine
- Understanding of food safety standards (HACCP)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina for extended standing and lifting
- Team player with excellent communication abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
