Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily food preparation and mise-en-place.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen workstation at all times.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
- Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency across all dishes.
- Monitor food stock levels and inform the head chef of any supply shortages.
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP).
- Maintain kitchen equipment in good working order and report any maintenance needs.
- Support the team during busy service hours to ensure efficient food delivery.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Good physical stamina to stand and work in a kitchen environment for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredient handling.
- Educational background in Hospitality or Culinary Arts is a plus.
